One-day childbirth class being offered
ANDERSON — Saint John’s Birthing Center is taking registrations for the next one-day “Prepared Childbirth” class, which will be 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, May 2. The course provides information to empower the expectant mother and her family to make informed choices during pregnancy, labor, delivery and beyond. Saint John’s Birthing Center also offers Prepared Childbirth as a series conducted over five class sessions.
Childbirth classes in Spanish also are available on a quarterly basis.

Chicken noodle dinner served Friday
PENDLETON — The Pendleton Historical Museum will serve its third annual chicken noodle dinner from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, May 1, at the Community Building in Falls Park.
The menu will include chicken and noodles, mashed potatoes, green beans, roll, drink and dessert.
Price is $7 per person and tickets may be purchased at the door.
