VALEDICTORIAN – MAJA WARRUM

Maja Warrum, daughter of Terry and Lisa Warrum, Pendleton, has been named Valedictorian of the Class of 2008 at Pendleton Heights High School. Maja has accumulated a grade point average of 13.180/12.000 (A+) and will be receiving an Academic Honors Diploma and is pursuing the Pendleton Heights High School Summa Cum Laude Diploma. She plans to attend the Wheaton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania and begin study toward a double degree in business and biology with a concentration in finance and retail. Following graduate school she plans to pursue law or medical school. While in high school, Maja has been a member of National Honor Society, French Club, French National Honor Society, Spanish Club, Spanish National Honor Society, National Beta Club, Book Club, Golf and Softball.

SALUTATORIAN – MICHELLE RIFFEY

Pendleton Heights High School is pleased to announce that Michelle Riffey is Salutatorian of the Class of 2008. The daughter of Bob and Leah Riffey, Michelle has earned a grade point average of 13.150/12.000 (A+) and will be receiving an Academic Honors Diploma and is pursuing the Pendleton Heights High School Summa Cum Laude Diploma. Following graduation, Michelle will attend Purdue University where she plans to major in pharmacy. While a student at PHHS, Michelle has participated in National Honor Society (president), National Beta Club, Spanish Club, Spanish National Honor Society, Sunshine Society (president), Best Buddies, Teens Against Tobacco Use and VOICE. She attends Grace Community Church where she is active in the youth group and leadership team and serves as a volunteer at Rawlins House. Michelle has continually served as a positive influence at PHHS and in her community.
