Doris G. Lucas
Feb. 26, 1921 – April 21, 2008
Doris Genell (Mikels) Lucas, 87, died April 21, 2008 at Saint John’s Medical Center in Anderson.
She was a graduate of Pendleton Heights High School and retired as a medical technologist from Saint John’s Medical Center.
Survivors include four sons, William J. Lucas, Kevin M. (wife, Carolyn) Lucas, James B. (wife, Laura) Lucas and Daniel P. (wife, Kelly) Lucas; 13 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; an uncle; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph E. Lucas.
Mass of Christian Burial was held April 25 at St. Ambrose Catholic Church. Burial was in Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Ambrose Catholic School.
Arrangements were handled by Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Home.
