PENDLETON — The Indiana State Police Methamphetamine Suppression Unit recently submitted its annual report for 2007. Last year the Indiana State Police Meth Suppression Unit dismantled 820 labs statewide compared to 766 in 2006. Each Indiana State Police district has at least one full time meth suppression trooper dedicated to gathering intelligence about possible meth labs, conducting meth investigations, and dismantling meth labs. Additionally, each district has several other troopers who are also trained in meth suppression to assist the full time trooper as needed with investigations and intelligence gathering duties.
