MIDDLETOWN — The Cadiz Lions Club will have a hamburger fry from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday at Harvest Market, 595 Locust St.
Funds raised will benefit state Lions programs, including sight, cancer, Cancer Woodsmoke, and leader dog activities.
Library offers free computer classes
PENDLETON — The Pendleton Community Library is offering free computer classes during August. All classes will be held in the library’s community room. There is no cost to attend, but registration is required. To register, call 778-7527 or e-mail ashannon@pendleton.lib.in.us. Class size is limited to six participants.
Learn the basics of using the Internet on Aug. 10 and 14 from 3 to 5 p.m. Internet for seniors will be held on Aug. 28 from 3 to 5 p.m.
Local talent Friday at Black Expo
ANDERSON — Local talent will be showcased at 6:30 p.m. Friday at Jackson Park, 22nd Street and Raible Avenue, as part of Anderson Black Expo. Singing, dancing, instrumental, poetry and rap will be featured.
Chris “PM” Jones, a Nashville-based recording artist and motivational speaker, will be featured. Leon Allen will serve as master of ceremonies.
