AHS Class of ‘60 plans luncheon

ANDERSON — The Anderson High School Class of 1960 will have its monthly luncheon at 11:30 a.m. Thursday at Shouts (located at Cooper’s Sports Bowl).

Garden club meets at Pendleton

PENDLETON — The Pendleton Garden Club will meet at 7 p.m. Monday, Jan. 20, at the Conservation Building in Falls Park, 520 Falls Park Drive.

The program will be “Hydrangeas” by Gwen DeShong, PGC member and master gardener.

The public is invited. Refreshments will be served following the meeting.

Chicken noodles dinner canceled

ANDERSON — The chicken noodles dinner scheduled for Wednesday at North Anderson Wesleyan Church has been canceled due to inclement weather.

Bereavement group to discuss holidays

ANDERSON — Dick True of the Community Hospital Department of Pastoral Care will conduct the next session of the Bereavement Support Ministry that meets monthly at Bethany Christian Church, 1920 N. Rangeline Road, Anderson, at 7 p.m. Thursday.

This session, “A Followup to the Holidays,” will take place in the Fireside Room of the church. Enter through the north door across from Highland Middle School.

All sessions are free of charge. Refreshment and fellowship conclude each meeting. Reservations are not necessary but you may call the church office at 643-5713 for more information.

Cross Roads cancels spaghetti dinner

ANDERSON — A missions fundraiser spaghetti dinner at Cross Roads United Methodist Church slated for Saturday night has been canceled.
