ANDERSON — Fifth Street United Methodist Church, 1124 W. Fifth St., will host a baked cube steak dinner on Saturday from 4 to 7 p.m.

Cost is $8 for adults; $4 for children 4-10; and children under 3, eat free.

Gem, mineral show at State Fairgrounds

INDIANAPOLIS — “Treasures of the Earth,” the 16th annual Indianapolis Spring Bead, Gem, Mineral & Jewelry Show, will be held March 21-23 at the Indianapolis State Fairgrounds, Agriculture/Horticulture Building, 1202 E. 38th St.

There will be beads, pearls, fossils, opals, lapidary tools, gems, minerals and jewelry merchants at the show.

Admission, $5. Ticket is good for all three days. Children under 12, free with adult admission.

‘Stories in Stone’ screening Sunday

ANDERSON — The Madison County Historical Society will host a screening of “Stories In Stone” at 2 p.m. Sunday at The History Center, 15 W. 11th St.

The one-hour long documentary examines the lives of people who lived in Madison County in the 19th century.

Producer/director Chet Green of Anderson will hold a question-and-answer session after the screening. Admission is free.
