Rummage, bake sale today, Saturday

ANDERSON — Memorial Circle Wesleyan Church, corner of W. 25th St. and Park Road, will host a rummage and bake sale from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. today and Saturday.

All proceeds are for women's missions

Rangeline host October Harvest dance

ANDERSON — The Rangeline Community Center, 1405 N. Rangeline Road, will be the site of a October Harvest dance from 7 to 10 p.m. Saturday.

Buddy Patterson will be the disc jockey. There is a $5 fee.

Bazaar, luncheon Saturday

ALEXANDRIA — Epworth United Methodist Church, 1250N and 400E, Alexandria, will host its annual bazaar and luncheon Saturday.

There will be many tables full of fall items, hand-crafted items and Christmas items. This year will also feature home baked goods and homemade noodles.

Anderson Banking Co. employees meet

ANDERSON — All former employees, and guests, of Anderson Banking Co. are invited for lunch at Perkins Restaurant, 5033 S. Scatterfield Road, on Monday at noon.

Each guest will order from the menu.

ACS secretaries to gather

ANDERSON — Anderson Community Schools retired secretaries will meet for their monthly luncheon at 12:30 p.m. Monday at the MCL Restaurant in Mounds Mall.

The group meets the second Monday of each month.

Minnetrista glass etching Oct. 24

MUNCIE — Looking to spruce up a dull, everyday glass piece in your home? Discover how, at Minnetrista Glass Workshop: Glass Vase Etching on Oct. 24 from 6 to 9 p.m.

Minnetrista education experts will show participants how to jazz up an old vase using unique stencil-etching techniques. Personalize a vase with pre-made stencils or free-hand a one-of-a-kind design, to take home at the end of the workshop.

Cost is $25 per attendee. Member discounts apply. Register before Oct. 18.
