Shenandoah Class of ’88 to host summer reunion

MIDDLETOWN — The Shenandoah High School Class of 1988 will host its 25-year class reunion from 7 p.m. to midnight on Saturday, July 20, at the Middletown American Legion, 450 N. 10th St.

The cost is $10 per person. Dinner includes Greg’s RBI pulled pork sandwiches, macaroni and cheese, baked beans and cole slaw.

If you are a member of the class and would like to attend, mail the following by July 1: your name and the name of your plus-one, best contact information (email, address, etc.), and check for $10 or $20, to Christie Jones Coffey, 1208 Cottage Ave., Middletown. More information can be made by emailing to SHS1988IN@yahoo.com.

    A small group of amputees gathered for the Second Annual Show Your Mettle Day at Frazier’s Dairy Maid on Friday. The event, which offered free ice cream to amputees thanks to Prevail Prosthetics and Orthotics, served as a meet and greet to help support limb loss awareness in the community.
