Abigail Maxey receives Keith Millikan Legacy scholarship

ANDERSON — The Anderson Federation of Teachers recently awarded scholarships to students.

In honor of Keith Millikan and his dedication to education, the Anderson Federation of Teachers has added a new scholarship and is awarding it to an area senior upon the successful completion of his/her high school career.

The Keith Millikan Legacy scholarship was established by the AFT through the governing body, the Executive Board. The award is $1,500 and the applicant must be a senior in high school and attend the non-charter public high school in the district where he/she resides or attend Anderson High School.

This year’s recipient is Abigail Maxey of Lapel High School. She is the daughter of Leah and Tom Maxey.

Teegarden graduates from James Madison

HARRISONBURG, Va. – Clinton Stanley Teegarden, of Anderson, graduated with a degree in Computer Info Systems - BBA from James Madison University during the May 4 commencement exercises.

Teegarden was among 3,600 students who received undergraduate, master’s, educational specialist and doctoral degrees.

Reding earns degree from Ball State

MUNCIE – Jonathan W. Reding graduated from Ball State University Miller School of Business on May 4 with a bachelor of arts degree in information systems cum laude.

He is the son of Bill and Connie Reding and the grandson of Bill and Willametta Whitaker.

He is employed by Private Fleet Back Haul, Anderson.
