---- — Marietta Long to host Human Trafficking seminar
ANDERSON — Ovid Community Church, 793 E. 600S, Anderson, will host a Human Trafficking seminar at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 15, in the Family Life Center. The seminar will be presented by Marietta Kali Long of Set Free Movement.
Long helps women step out of human trafficking into freedom. Currently, there are an estimated 25 to 50 million people trafficked worldwide. The U.S. is not immune to this issue of modern slavery, with an estimated 200,000 trafficked in the US.

AHS hosts Ball State Singers
ANDERSON — Anderson High School Show Choirs are hosting the Ball State University Singers at 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 10, in the Anderson High School auditorium.
The BSU singers will perform as well as the AHS show choirs and special guests Anderson Area Youth Chorale. Tickets are $6 in advance and $7 at the door.

Entertainment needed for Mall Christmas show
Holiday vocal, instrumental, dance, and drama groups are invited to perform during the Christmas Gift and Craft Show at Mounds Mall, Friday through Sunday, December 6-8, during regular mall hours.
The Gift and Craft Show will feature nearly 80 booths filled with home-crafted gift items as well as services and products.
Entertainers will showcase their talents as they perform in the food court area of the mall. Craft vendors will be showing their gifts and crafts throughout the mall during the three-day sales event. The Christmas Gift and Craft Show benefits the Exchange Club Family Resource Center in Anderson for child abuse prevention.
Tractor cruise-in coming to local pumpkin patch
PENDLETON — On Oct. 12 and 13, Smith Family Farms Pumpkin Patch will host an Antique Tractor Cruise-In.
Alex Williams from Pendleton will entertain. Admission is $4 per person; children ages 2 and under are admitted free.
Church annual bazaar set for Oct. 12
LAPEL — The Annual Harvest Bazaar hosted by Trinity United Methodist Church is set for Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Trinity United Methodist Church, 217 E. Seventh St., Lapel.
The Harvest Bazaar will host a large flea market and full turkey dinner. Dinner will be served from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Meals are $8 for adults and $5 for children ages 6-10. Kids under 6 eat free when accompanied by an adult. Carry-outs are available by calling the church office at 534-4222.
Visit Goodie’s Café at the bazaar for home baked pies, cakes, cookies and breads along with hand-dipped chocolates. This year Trinity introduces "She’s A Doll!" featuring porcelain dolls, doll clothes and furniture.
All proceeds from the bazaar go toward local and worldwide missions.
