White River Home Schoolers to present 'Ye-Ha'

The Herald Bulletin

---- — ANDERSON — White River Christian Home Educators’ Junior Drama Troupe will present "Ye-Ha" on Thursday, Nov. 7, and Friday, Nov. 8. The play will begin at 6:30 p.m. each evening at Aletheia Fellowship Center, 2505 Faith Drive.

Tickets may be purchased at the door for $5 per person or $4 in advance from any cast member; children under age 2 are admitted free of charge.

The musical western opens in Splodge City, a traditional wild west town who is having trouble keeping a sheriff because of Mad Dog McNut and his outlaw gang. With scary scalping Indians and conniving townsfolk who can be trusted? Where is the "gold" hidden? Who can rescue this town? Where is that mud-flinging, gun-slinging, hip-swinging, song-singing wild west hero? Come for a spectacular Stetson stomping time.

This year's production is directed by homeschool moms Sarah Horner and Lana Ranahan. Cast members include Leah Landers, Chris Kornbroke, Gideon Horner, Andy Pape, Reid Long, Hannah Horner, Noah Retherford, Abbey Schull, Heidi Gernand, Jonathan Culp, Tyler Shannon, Andy Seals, Joseph Culp, Riley Retherford, Ruthie Spooner, CJ Barker, Gwyn Fisher, Kayla Pape, Tyler Ranahan, Asher Stapleton, Grant Fisher, Timmy Shepherd, Clay Shull, Claire Knodel, Michael Shepherd, Evan Kane, Briyah Badgley, Elizabeth Wallace, Ethan Kane, Ethan Smith, Anika Long, and Emma Howell.

White River Christian Home Educators is a home school co-op that meets once a week for parent-led classes in Anderson. Classes are offered for preschool through high school age students.
