---- — First-ever Law Enforcement Torch Run

PENDLETON — The first-ever Madison County 5K Law Enforcement Torch Run will be held on Saturday at Falls Park, Pendleton.

Registration fee, $30 minimum, to benefit Special Olympics.

Registration begins at 9 a.m. with the race getting underway at 11 a.m. (rain or shine).

Car show set for Wednesday

CHESTERFIELD — Miller's Merry Manor, 524 Anderson Road, Chesterfield, will host a Car Show on Wednesday from 3 to 5 p.m. The event is being co-sponsored by Miller's and the Piston Poppers Car Club.

Dash plaques will be awarded to the first 25 entries.

Trophies will be given out for resident's favorite, staff favorite and overall favorite.

Lodge serves breakfast Saturday

ANDERSON — There will be an all-you-can-eat community breakfast served from 7 to 9 a.m. Saturday at Solar Masonic Lodge 734, 4220 Martin Luther King Blvd.

Cost is $5 for adults, $2 for children ages 5 to 12 and those under 4 eat free $5. Sponsored by Craft Club.

Autism Bike Ride set for June 29

FORTVILLE — Answers for Autism Bike Ride will be held on Saturday, June 29, at the Fortville Nazarene Church, 701 S. Maple St., Fortville.

Cost is 40-mile and 20-mile ride, $35; 1-mile Family Friend ride, $10.

40-mile and 20-mile registration, 6-7:30 a.m.,; ride starts at 8 a.m.; 1-mile Family Friendly Ride registration will be from 7:30 to 8:30 a.m. with the ride getting underway at 9 a.m.

There will be children's activities before and after the 1-mile Family Friendly Ride (face painting, arts and crafts, and sensory activities) as well as important information on issues surrounding autism.
