Madison Park Church holds Holiday Dinner Theater

ANDERSON -- Madison Park Church of God, E. 67thStreet and Columbus Avenue, will host a community Holiday Dinner Theater at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 12.

A performance of "A Christmas Carol" by Charles Dickens will be presented. Before the show, dinner with all the trimmings will be served in The Commons.

Cost is $22 per person.

Epilepsy Support Group meets Dec. 2

ANDERSON -- The next Epilepsy Support Group meeting will be from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Monday, Dec. 2, at Park Place Community Center, the former Park Place School, 802 E. Fifth St.

There is no admission charge. The group meets the first Monday of each month.

40 & 8 to serve up Dec. 1 breakfast

ANDERSON -- On Sunday, Dec. 1, the Madison County 40 & 8 Voiture 510, 1600 S. Rangline Road, will host an all-you-can-eat breakfast from 7:30 to 10:30 a.m.

Price is $7 a person. Breakfast includes bacon or sausage, hash browns, biscuits and gravy or toast. Off the grill, your eggs cooked to order, omelets, French toast and pancakes.

Church serves dinner Dec. 4

ANDERSON -- North Anderson Wesleyan Church, 1947 E. 240 N, will host a chicken and noodle dinner from 5 to 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 4.

Civic Theatre to host 'The Eight: Reindeer Monologues'

MUNCIE -- Are you looking for something different for Christmas this year? Tired of "Christmas Carol" and "Gift of the Magi?"

Muncie Civic Theatre presents the first-ever Studio XMAS show: "The Eight: Reindeer Monologues" on Dec. 6, 7, 12, 13 & 14 at a special late time of 9 p.m.

These are the elite eight reindeer dishing about the real Santa. All those rumors you've heard about him and the elves? About Mrs. Claus' alleged alcohol problems? About Rudolph's little secret? About Vixen's allegations and lascivious story that was leaked to the press? All true. Yes, the reindeer finally speak up and -- believe us -- they do not hold back! Tickets are $10 for general seating admission.

Auxiliary Christmas dinner Dec. 12

ANDERSON -- The Ladies Auxiliary of the VFW Post 266, 3210 Columbus Ave., Christmas dinner is planned for 6 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 12, at Red Lobster.

In lieu of the usual $10 exchange gift, members will donate the $10 to the post's adopted Christmas Family. A sign-up sheet is available at the post.

School of Radiologic Technology accepting applications

GREENVILLE -- Hancock Regional Hospital, sponsor of the Hancock Regional Hospital School of Radiologic Technology since 1962, is now accepting applications for the 2014-16 program. More than 250 students have graduated from this accredited, full-time, 23-month program. Upon completion of both clinical and classroom instruction, the students are eligible to sit for the national exam and earn the credentials of R.T. (R). Tuition is $4,000 per year plus fees. Applications will be accepted through Feb. 1, 2014.

Pathway of lights presented by Meridian Health Services

MUNCIE -- Meridian Health Services will bring to Muncie a holiday drive-through exhibit featuring more than 60,000 lights.

The driveway of lights pathway will take place at the Suzanne Gresham Center campus, 3620 W. White River Blvd. The exhibit will be featured from 5:30 to 9 p.m. on Dec. 1, 7, 8, 14, 15, 21 and 22.
