Soroptimist Club plans meeting

ANDERSON — Soroptimists International Anderson Club will meet Tuesday, April 29 at the Community Hospital Education Building at the corner of Madison and Cross streets.

All members and guests are invited to attend.

North Anderson Wesleyan hosting chicken noodle dinner

ANDERSON — North Anderson Wesleyan Church, 1947 E. 240N (Bethany and Rangeline roads) Anderson, will host a chicken and noodle dinner on Wednesday, May 7, from 5 to 6:30 p.m.

Men serve chicken and noodles

ANDERSON — The St. Joseph Guild at Trinity Episcopal Church will host a chicken noodle dinner on Tuesday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the church, 1030 Brown-Delaware St.

Cost is $8 for adults and $3 for children.

The meal includes chicken and noodles, green beans, mashed potatoes, dinner roll, dessert and coffee or tea.

The meal is open to the public.

St. Ambrose to host three-day rummage

ANDERSON -- St. Ambrose, 2800 Morton St., will host a three-day rummage sale, Thursday through Saturday.

Sale hours are 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday and Friday and 8 a.m. to 11 p.m. Saturday.

Items will including clothing, household items and lots of miscellaneous.
