Blayne Dalzell joins American Angus Association
FRANKTON — Blayne Dalzell, Frankton, is a new junior member of the American Angus Association, according to Bryce Schumann, CEO of the national organization with headquarters in Saint Joseph, Mo.
Junior members of the Association are eligible to register cattle in the American Angus Association, participate in programs conducted by the National Junior Angus Association and take part in Association-sponsored shows and other national and regional events.
The American Angus Association is the largest beef breed association in the world, with nearly 24,000 active adult and junior members.
Taliaferro to compete in Miss Indiana pageant
ANDERSON — Cheyenne Ranae Taliaferro, 15, has been chosen as a state finalist in the National American Miss Indiana Pageant to be held July 6 at the Marriott-Downtown in Indianapolis.
Taliaferro will be participating in the Junior Teenage division, along with other young ladies from across Indiana.
She is the daughter of Amanda Taliaferro.
Her activities include choir, student and assistant teacher at the Next Step School of Dance. She enjoys reading, listening to music and hanging out with friends.
