ANDERSON — The Knights of Columbus, 1225 Main St., is hosting a Sunday Brunch on Sept. 22 from 9 a.m. to noon.

Cost is $9 per person.

Ladies Auxiliary hosts Fall Festival

ANDERSON — The Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 266 Ladies Auxiliary will host its Fall Festival from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 19, at the post.

Tables may be rented for $10.

FHS Alumni banquet set for Sept. 28

FRANKTON — The Frankton High School Alumni Annual Banquet will be held on Saturday, Sept. 28, in the cafeteria at Frankton Elementary School, at 6 p.m.

A buffet dinner will be served at 6:30 p.m., a business meeting and social time will follow. Officer election will be held.

The Class of 1963 will be honored as the 50-year alumni with other classes also being recognized.

No written invitations are being sent, so alumni are asked to pass this information on.

Cost is $17 per person and may be sent to Phyllis McCord, P.O. Box 15, Frankton, IN 46044, by Sept. 21. Make checks payable to FHS Alumni and indicate year of graduation on check.

Trigeminal Neuralgia Group to meet

PENDLETON — The Trigeminal Neuralgia Association Support Group will meet at 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 21. There will be a 30-minute video, "Opioids for Neuropathic Face Pain," followed by a discussion, and general sharing with one another about facial pain.

Group meetings are held at 10 a.m., bi-monthly on the third Saturday of March, May, July, September., and November . All meetings are held at the Trinity Life Center, 5900 Indiana 13S, Pendleton.

Bands to host community fish fry Sept. 19

MUNCIE — The Southside Band and Guard and Wilson Middle School Band will host an all-you-can-eat community fish fry on Thursday, Sept. 19, from 5 to 8 p.m. in the cafeteria of Southside High School, 1601 E. 26th St., Muncie.

Cost is $10 for adults, $8 for children 6-12 and children 5 and under eat free.

Pre-sale reduced rate tickets are available from band and guard members.

Free clinical breast exams scheduled

ANDERSON — Community Hospital Anderson continues to offer free clinical breast exams for women in Madison County. Jill Hensley, nurse navigator at Community Anderson, performs the exams by appointment. Register by calling 298-1617.

Clinical breast exams are different than mammograms, and should be done every three years in women ages 20-39, and every year for women over 40. All women over the age of 20 should perform self-breast exams monthly. Women over the age of 40 should have a screening mammogram done once a year.

Shrine Ladies Club hosts style show

ANDERSON — The Madison County Shrine Ladies Club will have a "Holiday Happenings" style show and brunch on Saturday, Oct. 5, at 11 a.m. at the Shrine Club, 2419 White St.

Fashions will be provided by Coldwater Creek from Hamilton Commons.
