‘Wright Nights’ bring couple into dinner concerts

ALEXANDRIA, Ind. —  Singer-songwriter Woody Wright and his wife, Vonnie, will bring their brand of uplifting and inspiring music to Gaither Family Resources for a dinner/concert series that begins May 16 and runs through October.

The couple will offer a different musical program each month accompanied by food from Gaither Family Resources at its banquet room, 1617 S. Park Avenue in Alexandria.

“This is something I have wanted to do for years,’ said Woody Wright.

Wright likened the event to “listening rooms” like the Bluebird Cafe in Nashville, Tenn, where he previously lived.

“So I put together a concept together that GFR manager Eric Scott and I agreed would be fun, and a much needed entertainment opportunity in Alexandria.”

Scott said, “We expect a good number

The Wrights currently travel the world performing concerts of Christian-based music. But the local Thursday shows are different than those performances, they noted. For example, May 16 will feature the songs of Woody Wright. The June 13 show will celebrate Vonnie Wright’s new solo CD titled ‘Vonnie!”

The cost of each Wright Night is $25 per person and includes the musical program, a special menu and a drawing. Each night starts at 6:30 p.m. For reservations, contact (764) 724-8405 or (800) 520-4664.
