ANDERSON, Ind. — A compilation of community news as published in the Monday edition of The Herald Bulletin.

Red Haven Award luncheon Tuesday

ANDERSON — The Anderson Noon Exchange Club will hold its 45th annual Red Haven Memorial Award luncheon on Tuesday at the Edge Golf and Dining in Edgewood.

Dr. Felix Chow, superintendent of Anderson Community Schools, will address the Red Haven nominees with a challenge about career paths at the 11:30 a.m. luncheon.

This event honors an outstanding senior from each of the Madison County high schools who excel in academics, athletics and citizenship.

The community is invited to attend the luncheon at $10 per person. Reservations should be made by today by calling Bonny Clark at 617-5912.

Anderson Speedway hosting blood drive

ANDERSON — A blood drive will be held from 1 to 5 p.m. Friday at Anderson Speedway during the Pay Less Little 500 practice and second round of qualifying.

Donors will receive an American Red Cross T-shirt and a ticket to a future event at Anderson Speedway. To schedule a donation, call the speedway at 642-0206, 1-800-RED-CROSS or visit www.redcrossbloodl.org.

Relay for Life team meeting is Thursday

PENDLETON — The Madison County Relay For Life team meeting is set for 6 p.m. Thursday at Pendleton Heights High School.

This will be an informational meeting in preparation for the annual Relay of Life that is scheduled June 7 and 8.

    A new favorite that combines food and cars is rolling back into town next week. Food Truckin' Thursday starts back up May 1. For about six months, local vendors will pull up their food trucks to Citizens Park Plaza at Ninth and Main streets from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
