AHS hosts Ball State Singers

ANDERSON — Anderson High School Show Choirs are hosting the Ball State University Singers at 7 p.m. Thursday in the Anderson High School auditorium.

The BSU singers will perform as well as the AHS show choirs and special guests Anderson Area Youth Chorale. Tickets are $6 in advance and $7 at the door.

Frankton Class of ’64 alumnae to meet

FRANKTON — The women of the Frankton High School Class of 1964 will meet for lunch 11:30 a.m. Saturday at Golden Corral restaurant, 6315 S. Scatterfield Road, Anderson.

Plans are being made for the class’s 50th anniversary celebration next year. Updated addresses of classmates are requested for future mailings.

Bereavement ministry meets

ANDERSON — Registered nurse Bobbi Eads will be the speaker for the Bereavement Support Ministry that meets at 7 p.m. Thursday at Bethany Christian Church, 1920 N. Rangeline Road.

The group meets in the Fireside Room of the church, enter through the north door across from Highland Middle School.

Meetings are free and refreshments and fellowship conclude each meeting.

Entertainment needed for Gift and Craft Show

ANDERSON — Holiday vocal, instrumental, dance, and drama groups are invited to perform during the Christmas Gift and Craft Show at Mounds Mall, Dec. 6-8, during regular mall hours.

Nearly 80 booths filled with home-crafted gift items as well as services and products will be featured.

Entertainers will showcase their talents in the food court area. Craft vendors will show their items throughout the mall during the three-day event. Musical groups and vendors may reserve their time and space by calling 617-5912 or emailing andersonexchangeclub@yahoo.com.

The annual show benefits the Exchange Club Family Resource Center in Anderson for child abuse prevention.

Cruise-in coming to local pumpkin patch

PENDLETON — Smith Family Farms Pumpkin Patch will host an Antique Tractor Cruise-In on Saturday and Sunday.

    A small group of amputees gathered for the Second Annual Show Your Mettle Day at Frazier’s Dairy Maid on Friday. The event, which offered free ice cream to amputees thanks to Prevail Prosthetics and Orthotics, served as a meet and greet to help support limb loss awareness in the community.
