Festival runs Oct. 11-13

Toward evening, head to the fire station for its annual pork chop dinner. At 7 p.m., the Wright Place mother-and-daughter duo takes the stage.

On Sunday, the carnival rides and vendors reopen, and the fun continues with the baking contest and chili cook-off.

All throughout Daleville’s Autumnfest, members of its community are engaged, from the police department to the schools, churches and organizations.

“We try to encourage the community to be involved,” said Richman.
