ANDERSON, Ind. —
The Madison County Council is meeting in special session early this evening and is expected to approve the purchase of two buildings at the Juvenile Justice Center for use as a Women’s Work-Release center.
In February, the council approved a resolution to “investigate and appraise property” for that purpose.
Council President John Bostic said the cost to purchase the two buildings is $130,000.
The meeting is scheduled for 5 p.m. at the Madison County Government Center, 16 East 9th Street, Anderson.
