Voting centers rejected by election board

ANDERSON, Ind. — A decision to create voting centers in Madison County was defeated in a decision Tuesday by the Madison County Election Board, but officials say there will still be changes to polling places.

Among the provisions, the proposal would have reduced the number of Election Day voting sites in the county to 25 and add four early-voting sites that would have been opened for 16 days.
