Election Board will vote today on proposal

ANDERSON — The Madison County Election Board will conduct a public meeting at 1 p.m. today to vote on the voting centers proposal.

Among the provisions, the proposal would reduce the number of Election Day voting sites in the county to 25 and add four early-voting sites that would each be open 16 days.

Today’s meeting will be in Room 110 at the Madison County Government Center, 16 E. Ninth St. Comments to the board on this issue can be emailed to by noon today.
