ANDERSON — The Riddles will be in concert Sunday during the 10:30 a.m. service at Gethsemane Foursquare Church, 2320 E. 38th St.

Workshop, salad luncheon Nov. 16

ANDERSON — The Mission Ministry of Bethesda Missionary Baptist Church is hosting its annual Workshop/Salad Luncheon on Saturday, Nov. 16. This year's theme is "Be a Committed Follower" (Luke 9:57-62).

The workshop will begin promptly at noon. Workshop speakers are First Lady Lutrille Dixon of New Birth Worship Center and Marilyn Mathis of Wallace Temple AME Church.

Church celebrates 41st anniversary

MUNCIE — New Liberty Baptist Church, 1615 N. Elgin, Muncie, will be celebrating their 41st anniversary on Sunday, Nov. 10.

Guests will be Pastor Floyd Edwards and Bethesda Baptist, Anderson, beginning at 11:15 a.m.

The message will be delivered by Minister Carl Pinkler.

Epworth dedicates sanctuary

ALEXANDRIA — The congregation of Alexandria Epworth United Methodist Church, county roads 400 East and 1250 North, would like to invite everyone, especially former members and/or their families, to a day of celebration on Sunday. The worship service will begin at 9:30 a.m. and will include a ceremony to dedicate the newly-remodeled sanctuary, vestibule, and entry hall. The annual Harvest Dinner will follow at 11:15 a.m. in the Fellowship Hall.

Worship service includes trumpeters

ANDERSON — Sunday morning worship service at 9:30 a.m. will include trumpeters Connor Olesky and Demetrius Peoples as they accompany the Sanctuary Choir’s anthem, “God is Our Refuge,” by Allen Pote. Consecration and Commitment Sunday will be observed Nov. 17 as members celebrate the culmination of the pledges of time, money and talent. A pitch-in dinner will follow in Wesley Hall.

'Roger's Rally' this evening

ANDERSON — Central Community Chapel, 1004 Indiana Ave., will host "Roger's Rally" open mic night at 6:30 p.m. this evening. Sign-up starts at 6 p.m.

The Ladies Group is having a bean, cornbread and fried potato supper from 4 to 6 p.m. Cost is $6 for adults, and $3 for kids 12 & under. Children under five, eat free.

New Hope celebrates 133 years

ANDERSON — New Hope United Methodist Church will celebrate its 133rd church anniversary on Sunday at the 10 a.m. service.

Guests will be the Rev. Ida Easley and the Wesley UMC of Jeffersonville.

Bond guest singer, evangelist

ANDERSON — The Anderson Eastview Church of the Nazarene, 2552 E. 200S., will have the Rev. Gary Bond, singer and evangelist, at 10:30 a.m. Sunday.

Since 1969, Rev. Bond has traveled throughout the United States and Canada proclaiming the gospel message in song and sermon.

'Three Bridges' in concert Nov. 16

ANDERSON — The group "Three Bridges" will appear in concert at 6 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 16 at the Parkview Church of the Nazarene, 911 S. Rangeline Road.

The trio has appeared on several Bill Gaither video tapings and were special guests on a video for the United Nations.

A love offering will be received and there is a suggested donation of $10 per person.

Master's Praise in concert Nov. 17

ANDERSON — North Anderson Wesleyan Church, 1947 E. 240N (Bethany and Rangeline roads) will be hosting Master's Praise from Indiana Wesleyan University at 10:30 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 17.

Master's Praise is a group of college men that offer southern gospel music.

Cross Roads UMC to honor veterans

ANDERSON — Cross Roads United Methodist, 2000 N. Scatterfield Road, will be honoring all Veterans during both the 8:30 and 10:30 a.m. worship services with a slide show presentation.
