Fellowship topic of Hawkins talk at AU
ANDERSON — MaryAnn Hawkins, Professor of Intercultural Studies and Dean of the Chapel, will preach at the Anderson University School of Theology Chapel at 11 a.m. on Tuesday.
As part of the preaching series on the Stained Glass window in Miller Chapel, she will be speaking on Fellowship. Bryan Ashmore will lead worship and Phil and Phyllis Kinley will serve as Chaplains in Residence.
Concert to benefit HIV/AIDS orphans
NOBLESVILLE — First Christian Church, 16377 Herriman Blvd., Noblesville, will host a concert by Raye and Friends at 3 p.m. on Sunday, April 21, to raise money for orphaned children in Langa Township, Capetown, South Africa.
The church has partnered with Horizon International to provide food, clothing, basic medical care and schooling for orphans in four Xhosa townships in the Cape.
Music by Brahms, Joplin and Gershwin will be performed by world-renowned musicians Raye Pankratz, Gregory Martin and Christina Martin. Seating is limited to 500.
Refreshments will be served in Fellowship Hall after the concert. Donations will be accepted on behalf of HIV/AIDS orphans.
Apostolic Heritage Conference set
ANDERSON — Christ Temple Apostolic Church, 1610 W. 22nd St., will host the 2013 Apostolic Heritage Conference May 1-3 with services at 7 p.m. nightly. Host pastor is District Elder Eddie Robinson.
The speaker on May 1 will be Elder Alfred Amos of Bethel Tabernacle, Indianapolis. Pastor Joel Urshan of the First Apostolic Church of Cincinnati will speak on May 2 and on May 3, Bishop Charles Sims of Calvary Community Church of Columbus, Ind., will be the speaker.
Tabitha Miller to give testimony
ANDERSON — Tabitha D. Miller, formerly of Anderson, will deliver the Word and give her testimony at Central Community Chapel, 1004 Indiana Ave., at 10:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. Sunday, and at 6 p.m. Monday.
The Taylors to perform in concert

Keith Davidson to present ministry
ANDERSON — Missionary Keith Davidson, Director of Seedline International, will present his ministry in both Sunday services at Bethany Baptist Church, 323 E. School St., Anderson.
Seedline prints and sends scriptures to the Philippines, Africa, Mexico, Japan, military bases in Germany, church plants in the U.S., prison ministries and college campuses.

Gospel High Light to celebrate 38th
ANDERSON — The Rev. Walter Steen and Blessed from Detroit, Mich., will be at Anderson Zion Missionary Baptist Church, 2008 Rev. J.T. Menifee St., Anderson, at 4 p.m. Sunday, to celebrate the Gospel High Light 38th year anniversary.
Also in attendance will be Brother James Warner and Company of Anderson as well as G.H. Broadcast Male Choirs.
Guest speaker will be the Rev. Edgar M. Woodall and Friendship Missionary Baptist Church.
Mary Kathyrn Brewer to guest solo
ANDERSON — Guest soloist Mary Kathryn Brewer will be in concert at the 10:30 a.m. morning service Sunday at Park Place Church of God, 501 College Drive, Anderson.
Brewer, originally from Greenville, Ohio, received her master of music degree in vocal performance from Bowling Green State University and her bachelor of music degree in vocal performance from Anderson University, and actively performed the Boze Lyric Opera Theater. She performed the role of The Messenger in Rick Vale’s opera “The Vagrant” with AU. She is currently an instructor of voice and diction at Anderson and Taylor universities.
Healing Service planned at Daleville
DALEVILLE — The Elders of Daleville Christian has planned a Healing Service for Wednesday, April 17 at 7 p.m. in the sanctuary, 14220 W. Daleville Road.
