Church Women United set meeting

ANDERSON — Church Women United of Madison County Area 8 will meet Monday, Aug. 5 at 9:30 a.m. for its prayer fellowship Can Do "I Can Do All Things Through Christ."

Host church is Central Wesleyan, 24th and Delaware streets (held in the Fellowship Annex).

Trinity holding VBS this week

DALEVILLE — Trinity Community Church, 13801 W. Main St., Daleville, will host Vacation Bible School Sunday, July 28 through Wednesday, July 31, from 6:30 to 8 p.m. each evening.

VBS is for children ages 4 through sixth grade. There will be Bible lessons, games, music, snacks and more planned.

This year's theme is "Turned Around." For more information call 378-3634.

Church to honor pastoral anniversary

ANDERSON — New Liberty Missionary Baptist Church will be celebrating its pastor and first lady's 10-year anniversary on Sunday at 3:30 p.m.

Their guest will be Pastor Edgar M. Woodall and Friendship Baptist Church, Anderson.

Brother Allen Alexander and Company, Sister Latrell Dixon and Sister Tonya Kelly will be appearing on the program.

New Liberty is located at 1615 N. Elgin St., Muncie.

Brewer to lead worship at Park Place

Mary Kathryn Brewer will lead the 10:30 a.m. morning worship service at Park Place Church of God on Sunday, July 28.

Also featured in worship will be the Expression Camp Choir. Pastor David Markle will be preaching on “A Heart for the People.” Sunday school for all ages begins at 9 a.m., followed by The Gathering at 10 a.m.; and morning worship at 10:30 a.m. All are welcome.

Park Place Church of God is located at 501 College Drive.

ANDERSON — The Missionary Society will be have a workshop on Saturday, Aug. 3, at 10:30 a.m.
