ANDERSON — Southdale Church of the Nazarene, 530 W. 53rd St., recently depleted its supply of Crisis Care Kits reacting through the Nazarene Disaster Response team to the tornado tragedies in Oklahoma.
They are accepting donations to prepare for future crisis needs.
If you would like to help, bring any donations from the list below to the church from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday through Friday or on Sundays at 10:30 a.m. and 6 p.m. or Wednesdays at 7 p.m. (weekly church services).
If you would like to donate and need the items picked up, call the church at 642-2515.
Crisis care kits are a practical way to meet needs during a time of crisis.
Here is the Crisis Care Kit packing list:
◆ 1 medium size bottle of shampoo (12-18 oz.), tape flip-tops closed
◆ 2 bars of soap (bath-size or larger)
◆1 medium toothpaste (4-6.4 oz.)
◆3 toothbrushes (in original packaging)
◆ 1 box of Band-Aids (30 or more)
◆ 1 fingernail clipper
◆ 1 sturdy hair comb
◆ 2 hand towels
◆ 4 pocket-size packages of facial tissue
◆1 Beanie Baby-size stuffed toy
