WCTU mid-year rally on April 5

---- — SELMA — The WTCU mid-year meeting will be held Saturday at the Harris Chapel Church of the Nazarene in Selma. Special guests will be the World’s WCTU officers.

World President Margaret Ostenstad of Norway will speak during the morning session. Other officers scheduled to attend include Anne Bergen (Australia), first vice president; Dr. Dora de Barrientos (Guatemala), second vice president; Joy Butler (New Zealand), fourth vice president; Desiree Lanigan (Canada), organization secretary; Dorothy Russell (USA), treasurer; and Susanne Curry (USA), recording secretary.

All members and guests are welcomes from 9 to 9:25 a.m. with brunch and fellowship. Sarah Ward will open the morning session at 9:30 a.m.

State officers will be announcing program events and special activities scheduled for the National WCTU Convention July 31-Aug. 2 at the Crown Plaza Hotel in Indianapolis.

The afternoon session will begin at 1:15 p.m.
