PH's McCammon dives into regional


Eddy cited performances by Tyler Parrish in the 50 free and Tyler Davidson in the 100 free but stopped short of naming more. “It’s hard to select one or two people because I’m proud of all of them.”

Hamilton Smith was busy on the day, finishing seventh in the 200 individual medley and the 100 fly to go along with a sixth-place finish in the 400-yard free relay to end the day. Davidson was eighth in the 50 free, seventh in the 100-yard free and sixth in the 400 free relay.

In the diving competition, Anderson’s Bryant Swinford was 10th, Trevor Lane was 13th and Alonzo West was 14th. Anderson seniors participating in their final meet included Davidson, Parrish, Joel Butler, Zach Abbott, Collin Pratt and Patrick Cole.

In other local results, Liberty Christian’s 200-yard medley relay team of Mark Burnett, Isaac Goar, Taylor Binkerd and Griffin Davidson came home seventh. The foursome also scored an eighth-place finish in the 200-yard free relay. Elwood’s Aaron Haas was 16th in the 200-yard individual medley, Derek Haas was 13th and Nick Roberts was 15th in the 50-yard free. Roberts also placed 14th in the 100-yard free, while the 400-yard free relay team of Anthony Marlow, Ty Slayton, Aaron Cruz and Derek Sims was seventh.
