Sunny skies return for Colts at training camp

ANDERSON, Ind. — Wednesday’s rain has cleared, and it’s back to clear skies and comfortable temperatures at Anderson University.

The Indianapolis Colts did not hold a morning walkthrough Thursday, with head coach Chuck Pagano instead attending a breakfast with community leaders at the Paramount Theatre downtown.

Public practice resumes at 1:50 p.m. amidst news the team has brought in several defensive backs for tryouts. Safety Sergio Brown has missed the past two days with a hamstring injury, and cornerback Greg Toler suffered a concussion late in Wednesday’s session.

There has been no word on a timetable for either man’s return.

Come back to heraldbulletin.com tonight at 7 p.m. for a live webcast from the patio at The Edge. Sports editor Rick Teverbaugh and sports writer George Bremer will discuss Colts camp with special guests Craig Kelley of Colts.com, Conrad Brunner of 1070thefan.com and Tom James of the Terre Haute Tribune Star.

If you can’t join the show in person, tweet a question live to @gmbremer and use #ColtsCampTV.
