Angie Colip: Youth bowlers celebrate big weekend

Tonight begins the high school bowling season. Cooper’s Sport Bowl plays host to the 20 teams in the White River Valley conference at 5 p.m. The lineup for the 13 boys teams tonight are Anderson vs. Madison-Grant, Noblesville and Alexandria, Pendleton Heights and Frankton, Hamilton Heights and Lapel, Anderson Prep and Elwood, Fishers and Westfield and Daleville versus the bye team.

On the girls side, with seven teams, Anderson will face Madison-Grant, Noblesville and Pendleton Heights, Elwood and Hamilton Heights and Alexandria will face the bye team.

The bye teams will draw a team from a hat, and they will have to use those scores as the scores to beat.
