The week kicks off on Thursday at 8 p.m. with the outlaw figure-8 series, the front wheel drive figure-8 cars, SuperKarts and the popular Culver’s Trailer Races. Of course, a fireworks display will cap off the evening.

On Herald Bulletin night this Saturday, the McGunegill Engine Performance Late Models will be competing in a 75-lap feature with $1,500 going to the victor. The Street Stocks will be in action in another 75-lap feature with $1,000 going to the winner from Motion Motors. Also on the racing card are the Front Wheel Drive oval division, Legends and Thunder Roadsters. The racing program starts at 8 p.m.

Hannah Lundy, the two-time champion in the WMDH Thunder Car division is expected to make her first start of the year in a late model.

Congratulations to Indiana native Frank Kimmel for recording the 79th win
