Angie Colip: Thanksgiving brings back memories and another 300 game

Yes, but if you put it in the pocket, you have given yourself a chance. Congratulations Dylan.

The scores seem to be rising at Coopers Sport Bowl. Jason McCord took over the high series lead with a 795 on games of 279-258-258. Nice shooting, Jason. I don’t think it will be much longer before we have our first 800 of the season.

Tourney season has begun with the Heartland Youth Association County Tourney taking place this weekend and next.

Lucky Strike Lanes in Elwood will be the host for the team event while Norwood Bowl in Alexandria will have the singles and doubles events. Good luck to all those participating over the next two weekends.

High school bowling is still on for tonight. The boys will be at Wells Lanes in Elwood, while the girls will also be in Elwood at Lucky Strike.

The TKO tournament next month will be hosted in New Castle at Rose Bowl on Dec. 15. Being centrally located, this is a tournament that will be at full capacity for both shifts. Make sure to get your entries in, as there will likely be a waiting list.
