The Associated Press

INDIANAPOLIS — A mother who had been hospitalized since a Sunday fire that killed two daughters has died of her injuries.

A Wishard Memorial Hospital spokesman says 29-year-old Natasha Drake died late Tuesday in the intensive care unit.

Her daughters, 10-year-old Camry Drake and 7-year-old Lanesha Drake, died shortly after the fire.

Her son, 2-year-old Elijah Drake, remains hospitalized in serious condition.

Two other people escaped without injury through a window of the near north side home.

Investigators say the fire may have started by an unattended candle.
