FORT WAYNE — An Allen County judge active in juvenile justice matters has been named the state's outstanding judge by the Indiana State Bar Association.

Allen Superior Court Judge Charles Pratt has chaired an Indiana juvenile justice improvement committee and recently served on a national juvenile restorative justice task force.

Pratt also hears domestic relations, adoption and child abuse and neglect cases. Several of his initiatives have been copied in other Indiana counties.
