LINTON, Ind. — Police in southwestern Indiana say they believe officers have found the body of 19-year-old woman who was reported missing last week and two men have been arrested in connection with the death.
Linton Police Chief Troy Jerrell says state conservation officers located the body Monday evening in rural Greene County. Jerrell tells the Greene County Daily World that investigators believe the body is Katelyn Wolfe's.
Two men were jailed on preliminary murder charges, although police didn't give details about the arrests.
Police say Wolfe was last seen about 2 a.m. Thursday walking near a Dairy Queen in Linton, about 30 miles south of Terre Haute. Her last cellphone or computer activity came about an hour later, and her father reported her missing Thursday night.
