Anderson firefighters are still fighting a blaze that started before 3 p.m. at a home near Eighth Street and Milton Avenue. The fire appears to be in an unattached garage.
The fire and thick smoke chocked the alley behind the home. While firefighters were dousing the building with water, power lines sparked before the city was able to get the electricity disconnected.
