A teenager on her way to school lost control of her car and rolled over near Pendleton, the Madison County Sheriff's department said.
Jordan M. Dean, 18, of Pendlton, reported nerck pain but she was transported to a hospital by her mother, said Sheriff's Brian Bell.
Sheriff's deputies were called to 1400 block of West U.S. 36 near Pendleton Heights High School. Dean's 2000 Saturn had reportedly hit a mailbox and then an embankment causing the car to roll over onto its roof, Bell said. Dean was able to climb from the car.
Dean is a student at Pendleton Heights High School and was traveling to school when the accident happened, Bell said. The accident happened at 9:17 a.m. Thursday.
