Katina Yvonne Bailey departed this life to go home and be with the Lord on Nov. 23, 2006.
Katina Bailey, age 34, was born in Anderson, to Lucious and Christine Bailey on July 1, 1972.
She graduated from Madison Heights High School in 1991. She was a dedicated employee of Wendy’s Restaurant(s) for the past 15 years.
Katina enjoyed working crossword puzzles and painting, as well as spending quality time with family and friends. She was especially close with her parents.
She leaves to cherish her memory father and mother, Lucious and Christine Bailey; a sister, Barbara Williams of Anniston, Ala.; a brother, Herman Leon Bailey of Cleveland, Ohio; a close cousin, Willie Bailey of Anderson; special aunts, Luvenia Watson of Anderson, Ada Todd and Minnie Perry of Cleveland, Ohio; three uncles, John Richardson of Huntsville, Ala., Oscar Richardson of Chicago, Ill., and Henry Richardson of Birmingham, Ala.; her nieces, Armisha Williams of Anniston, Ala., Alexandria Bailey of Cleveland, Ohio; nephews, Jamar Williams of Anniston, Ala., Herman Bailey Jr. of Cleveland, Ohio; and a host of cousins and friends.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Artelia and William Richardson; and paternal grandparents, Effie and Tom Bailey.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at L.C. May Funeral Services, 2024 Madison Ave., with the Rev. Floyd Edwards officiating. Burial will be in East Maplewood Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
