Jeremy Reed scored 28 points to pace Lapel past Knightstown 76-52.
Jared Brandon had 12 of 15 points and Andrew Gibson added 10 of his 12 in a second-half spurt. The Bulldogs outscored the Panthers 46-29 in the second half.
Boston Fields contributed nine for t6he home team. Lapel is 3-1 and will host Beech Grove next Friday.
Shenandoah 67, Frankton 37
MIDDLETOWN — Shenandoah held Frankton to 10 second-half points as the Raiders rolled to a big win over the Eagles.
Joshua Bousman scored 15 points for the winners and Bristin Dunigan added 10 for the Raiders. Zach Cole and Jakob Sinclair added nine points each. For the Raiders, Dunigan claimed six rebounds and Cole handed out six assists.
Tyler Bower scored 11 points to top the Eagles.
Frankton dropped to 1-4 and will visit Oak Hill on Friday. The Raiders move to 4-1 and host Pendleton Heights in a boy/girl double-header next Friday.
Alexandria 47, University 45
ALEXANDRIA — Chance Morphew found Landon Breese along the baseline for Alexandria’s only 3-pointer and it turned a single-point deficit into a win.
The Tigers defeated University 47-45. Breese scored 17 points and Morphew added 15 more. Austin Hodges added nine points. BJ Barnes tied Hodges for high rebounding honors with seven and Morphew handed out three assists, including the game winner.
Alexandria is 2-4 and hosts Eastbrook on Friday in the Central Indiana Conference game.
Winchester 64, Elwood 32
WINCHESTER — Anthony Bennett led Elwood in both scoring (10) and rebounding (7) but it wasn’t nearly enough against the Golden Falcons.
Corbin Buster scored added nine points, followed by Sammy Morales with five and Tyler Shannon with three. Elwood was held to 14 second-half points by Winchester.
Elwood takes an 0-4 record into a home CIC contest next Friday against Blackford.
Pendleton Heights 53, Connersville 38
CONNERSVILLE — Kellen Dunham scored 21 points to lead the Arabians to a win over the Spartans.
Brogan Gary added 10 points, while Kendal Waters had nine points and eight assists as the later returned to the lineup after a one-game absence. Parker aul added five rebounds.
Pendleton Heights is 5-1 going into a game Friday at Shenandoah.
