Tibetan Monks at Camp Chesterfield
CHESTERFIELD — The singers of Tibet’s Drepung Loseling Monastery will perform Sacred Music Sacred Dance for World Healing at Camp Chesterfield as part of their international tour of The Mystical Arts of Tibet.
The matinee performance will be from 4 to 5 p.m. July 2 at Camp Chesterfield’s Cathedral. Ticket prices are $20 at the door or $15 if purchased before Saturday. A full performance will be from 7 to 9 p.m. July 3 at the cathedral. Ticket prices for the full performance is $35 at the door or $25 if purchased before Saturday.

Car show Monday at Hoosier Park
ANDERSON — The American Classic Prime Timer Car Show will be held on Monday from 1 to 9 p.m. in the Yard at Hoosier Park Racing & Casino, 4500 Dan Patch Circle, Anderson.
Entry is free and awards will be given including Best of Show, General Manager’s Pick, Jo Ellen Cook Award and Top 50 cars receive trophies. A DJ will be playing 50’s music and feel free to dress in your 50’s attire and dance the night away. Door prizes will also be given out.

Wellness program at Southside Pool
ANDERSON — Saint John’s Health System is providing free health and wellness programs at the Southside Pool as a part of its sponsorship of the summer season. This year, The Anderson YMCA is joining with them in offering educational activities.
The following demonstrations are scheduled for the week of June 28 through July 1:
Tuesday – Laparoscopic surgery on a melon demonstration
Wednesday – YMCA Snorkeling demonstration.
Southside Pool is open Tuesday through Sunday from noon to 5 p.m.
Victoria Guild hosting candy sale
ANDERSON — The South Bend Chocolate Company will have a selection of candy for sale at Saint John’s Cafeteria on Monday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Tuesday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
There will be bulk and boxed chocolates, turtles of all sizes, fresh roasted nuts, “Summer Crunch,” summer pretzels, and citrus drops. The sale is open to the public.
The South Bend Chocolate Company sale benefits the Saint John’s Victoria Guild, the hospital’s auxiliary. All Victoria Guild profits return to Saint John’s as gifts and special purchases.
Humane Society presented with $830
ANDERSON — The Elks Lodge 209’s recent rummage sale netted $830 to benefit the Madison County Humane Society.
Organizers Karen Spitzmesser and Mary Singleton recently presented the check to MCHS’s acting executive director, Linda Manderson.
Church to host rummage sale
ANDERSON — First Baptist Church, 907 N. Raible Ave., will hold a rummage sale this Saturday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Proceeds from the sale will benefit the Pipe Organ Restoration Fund.
There will be clothing, furniture, bicycles, books, household items and much more.
