ANDERSON —  Meals served at LifeStream’s Senior Café at the Geater Center in Anderson have changed to two days a week.

Meals will be served at noon only on Tuesdays and Fridays, according to Joy Hinshaw, wellness manager for LifeStream Services in Yorktown.

Hinshaw noted that patrons of the Geater Center’s Café are welcome to join other area residents at Longfellow Plaza, 319 E. 12th St., at noon for meals on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.

The change in the Geater Center’s schedule is based on an ongoing examination of programs and services and to assure the best and most effective programming for those who use our senior café services, Hinshaw said.

“We regret any inconvenience as a result of this change and appreciate your continued patronage,” she added.

People 60 and older can eat on a donation basis at any of LifeStream’s Senior Cafés, and there is no income requirement for participating. LifeStream also offers a home delivery meal program.
