While Indiana University is reporting debts left by the Hilary Clinton campaign, Anderson University had no problem getting payments from the Barack Obama campaign after its event at Reardon Auditorium, according to spokesman Chris Williams.

“The facility bill for the Michelle Obama event was paid for within the end of the week of the event,” he said.

Clinton and Barack Obama both used Anderson Community Schools facilities — the Wigwam and Anderson High School, respectively — for their events. No one from ACS returned phone calls Friday afternoon.

Because of Clinton’s visit, the Anderson Police Department spent $7,000 on overtime that week, Det. Joel Sandefur said in a previous interview. The city of Anderson paid nothing else for her visit, according to Public Information Officer Lisa Patton in a previous interview.
