Just like his wife, Deckard K. Zicafoose’s sentence for engaging in a threesome with his wife and a then-15-year-old boy will be capped at 10 years.

Zicafoose, 41, formerly of Edgewood, but now of Anderson, pleaded guilty Monday in Madison Circuit Court to a single count of sexual misconduct with a minor, a Class B felony.

Zicafoose’s deal with the Madison County Prosecutor’s Office closely mirrors the agreement his wife, 30-year-old Misty Zicafoose, entered into in her case.

Deckard Zicafoose is scheduled to be sentenced at 8 a.m. Monday, July 16. Misty Zicafoose will be sentenced at 8:30 a.m. Friday, July 6.

She pleaded guilty to five of eight counts of sexual misconduct with a minor, all Class B felonies.

The sexual-misconduct allegations surfaced in early February 2005, when a then-14-year-old boy told his brother about engaging in sex acts with Misty Zicafoose. The youth’s brother then told another brother, who in turn told their mother. The mother then went to police about the allegations.

Misty Zicafoose had inappropriate sexual conduct with the 14-year-old on several occasions in 2004.

The Herald Bulletin doesn’t generally reveal the identities of sex-crime victims.

A Class B felony is punishable by a six- to 20-year sentence.
