ANDERSON — Each year Madison County’s Salvation Army gives families the gift of Christmas through the Santa Fund.

For 80 years the organization has partnered with the community to help those in need during the holiday season.

All donations made after Jan. 2 will go toward the operating fund, supporting various programs. They include the food pantry, family services (payment of rent/utilities, baby food pantry, etc.), youth programs and counseling services.

Contributions may be made to The Salvation Army, 1615 Meridian St., Anderson, IN 46016 or P.O. Box 678, Anderson, IN 46015. If you wish to have your name printed in the paper, you must include a handwritten note with your donation stating so.
