It’s 6:30 a.m. Monday, happy Martin Luther King Jr. Day. Shenandoah Schools are operating on a two-hour delay this morning due to heavy fog.

Today, coverage of MLK Day events, including a celebration at the Paramount Theatre Centre. Local groups will gather at 1 p.m. today at Madison Park Church of God to gather supplies and other donations to help the Haitian relief effort. “Ask A Lawyer” comes to Mounds Mall. Plus, “Takin’ it to the Street Beat” will broadcast live from the Madison County Branch NAACP, 1015 W. 15th St., from 7-8 p.m. tonight.
