PENDLETON — Johnetta Kathleen “Johnnie” (Richards) Russell, 70, passed away Aug. 7, 2014, at Community North Hospital in Indianapolis.
She was born Oct. 30, 1943, in Fortville, grew up in Spiceland and was a Pendleton resident since 1970.
She was a 1961 graduate of Spiceland High School.
Johnnie worked in customer service at Kittle’s Furniture Warehouse in Indianapolis.
Survivors include her husband, Glenn F. Russell; and daughters, Kimberly (partner, Lori Shook) Russell and Jessica (husband, Mel) Bennett.
Johnnie was preceded in death by her daughter, Lydia Russell; sister, Janet Maxwell; and parents, John D. and Juanita (Stohler) Richards.
A visitation will be held at Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Service and Crematory, Lahm Chapel, Pendleton from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday, August 10, 2014 with a memorial service at 6 p.m., Sunday.
