ANDERSON — Mandy Ray, 74, of Anderson passed away on Oct. 23, 2014, at her residence. She was born on Feb. 16, 1940, in Anderson, where she resided most of her life.
She was a full-time mother, grandmother and very loving wife.
She was a member of Columbus Avenue Church of Christ, former member of Lindberg Road Church of Christ, where she helped her husband run a support group for many years. She loved to paint, work with crafts and spend time doing many activities with her family.
Mandy is survived by her loving husband, Herman “Bud” Ray of Anderson; daughter, Jennifer Wells-Hunter of Daleville; son, Stephen (Debbie) Wells of Houston, Texas; son, Kirk (Pamela) Alboher-Ray of Fishers; brother, Maurice (Rowena) Keith of Orlando, Fla.; sister, Delores Rogers of Anderson; grandchildren, Gregory (Kelly) Jeffries, Courtney (Kimberly) Jeffries, Alanna Alboher-Ray, Simeon Hunter, Hannah Hunter and Miklyn Wells; great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Eula Keith; father, Warren Keith; and her sister, Lynn Kline.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, Oct. 28, 2014, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Robert D. Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory, 200 West 53rd St. Anderson.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 28, 2014, at the funeral home with Gary Meeker officiating.
Burial will take place in the East Maplewood Cemetery, Anderson.
