ANDERSON -- Marguerite V. (Good) Main Bowers, resident of Anderson, passed away early Sunday morning, Aug. 11, 2013.
She was born in Anderson, the daughter of Glenn and Rose Horn Good.
She was a graduate of Indiana Business College and worked as a beautician most of her life.
She was a member, (and attended even before she was born), of the Daleville Christian Church. She belonged to the Daleville Women’s Club.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Bob Main; her parents; and brothers, Keith, Bernard and Chester Horn.
Survivors include her husband, John Bowers of Anderson; children: Kenton W. (Mary) Main of Longmont, Colo., Judith Bowers (Susan Patterson) of Bluffton, and Rex (Peggy) Bowers of Anderson; grandchildren, Chad (Ryan) Main of Chicago, Aaron W. (Amy) Main of Longmont, Colo., Melinda (Brent) Neal of Anderson and Mandy (Ryan Hall) Bowers of Anderson; great-grandchildren, Joshua, Sarah and Weston Neal, Lliam and Emmett Main of Chicago, Elise Jean, Oscar Wray, and Willa Lynn Main of Longmont, Colo.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. at Daleville Christian Church with the Rev. Gary McManus officiating. Entombment will follow at Elm Ridge Cemetery in Muncie.
Friends may call at the Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 8212 S. Walnut St., Daleville, on Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. and one hour prior to the services on Saturday at the church.
Memorials may be made to the Daleville Christian Church.
